LIVERMORE, CA — A traffic signal that was affected after a power pole was struck by a vehicle Saturday was still not working on Sunday morning, police said.
At 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, a gardening service pickup truck knocked out a power pole on East Stanley Boulevard near Murdell Lane. The impact cut nearly 1,000 residents out of power for several hours, PG&E reported.
Crews were still working to stabilize the power pole and rehang the lines, the Livermore Police Department tweeted.
All other lights in the city were operational Sunday morning.
