Description
Seeking to rehome 2 large dogs. We are relocating to another state and can not take them with us. Both dogs are house trained and do not use crates. Leash trained.
Dog 1: Piper "Mama" (Lab mix) 11 yrs. Piper was a stray that we adopted from Riverside Vet in Scottsville in 2015. We have had absolutely no behavioral problems with Piper. She is extremely good with people, children, and other dogs. Limited experience with cats. Non aggressive. Health issues: reoccurring ear infection that we occasionally treat with over the counter drops. Will eat you out of house and home.
Dog 2: Silva (Black lab) 6 yrs. Silva was surrendered to Riverside Vet in Scottsville in 2016 when she was a puppy, and we adopted her when she was 4 mos. Piper raised her. Silva is great with people. She is also good with other dogs, though she can take time to warm up to them at first. We once took her to a massive dog beach in Chicago where she ran around off-leash with about 50 other dogs, and she was totally non-aggressive the entire time. No issues. Full disclosure, Silva is a bit of a diva and a brat, meaning she is sometimes a bad listener. But she is sweet and extremely loyal. As a puppy, she had pretty bad separation anxiety, but that went away at about two years.
Would love to keep the girls together if possible. They are extremely bonded.
