Wooden boat repair assistance

I need assistance with repairs to a small wooden boat (17' Chesapeak Light Craft Noreaster Dory). Specifically, the daggerboard trunk is cracked and leaking. There are also small areas of wear to assess and address. This is a kit boat, and may not have been built/repaired in the best way. I may also want to do some modifications such as adding outboard rowing riggers and fitting with a sliding seat. If you have specific small boat experience, I'll be open to suggestions too.
