Strong Lead Vocalist needed for original rock band

3 Piece rock band looking for a strong melodic lead vocalist. (Male or Female is totally fine) We are a Drummer/Guitarist/Bassist been playing together about 3 years, looking for a solid vocalist to complete our group. We are chill laid back guys...but we have our shit together and can definitely deliver the goods musically. This is not an entry level first timers band. We are a fully collaborative effort, we all write...we all come in with song ideas, riffs etc and we get along like brothers...and we want the same in a vocalist. Talent is essential....but we have to truly get along as friends FIRST. Our music is heavy...but not Metal. Our stuff is heavy on groove and we improv jam a lot...in fact most of our songs are written off of material we have come up with during an improv jam. If I had to describe our music it is sort of a cross between Chevelle/Tool/All Them Witches/Janes Addiction/Kyuss/Hendrix and GISH era Smashing Pumpkins (though not certainly limited to just those bands)...we have been told many times it is very hard to describe what/who we sound like. I would strongly suggest if you are not familiar and fairly heavily influenced by the bands I just mentioned....we probably aren't the band your looking for. The ideal singer would have range/stage presence and no drama. (No alcoholics, No drug addicts...420 is ok...No bullshit). We have a solid rehearsal space with a full P.A. and professional gear. We are primarily an all original band, though we know some clubs will require some covers....so we will play covers as needed....BUT we are NOT a cover band. We aren't looking for old Metal Dudes, No ultra depressed Emo singers, No ego driven primadonnas etc. We have had several solid singers come and try out but regardless of their talent....we chose not to work with them due to ego/personality issues. We have mountains of material worked out...... complete songs, tons of pieces of songs and jams that are just waiting to be completed and turned into new songs. Not looking to add another lead guitarist either (been getting a LOT of those replies). We rehearse typically Saturdays from 1-7PM and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm. We are looking to write, gig, record etc. We all have recording and gigging experience. If this sounds good and you want to talk more and see what we are all about and hear some music....hit me back.
