Raleigh GalaxyCon is the last weekend in July. For Sunday July 31, I'm looking for a female cosplay partner. For my outfit, I've taken the traditional Aladdin and asked, "What if he worked as a 1901 newsie?" The last photo shows the outcome. So, what am I looking for? A Jasmine, but unlike the belly-dancing Jasmine as is typically portrayed via the 1992 Disney animation, I'm looking for one that leans heavily on culture and fashion of the Edwardian era circa 1901. The fun/challenge is blending Disney and 1901 together. Almost as an afterthought...I suppose I'm open to other Aladdin characters other than Jasmine, but she is my first thought. About me: Single, late 30s, Caucasian, planning to cosplay Wizard of Oz with my niece.
