PLEASE HELP

While I was in the ICU/hospital, the first week of December, my 2 kitties we're taken to the Idaho Humane Society. This was done without letting me know before hand and after I was told not to worry and promised that they would be taken care of and safe until I returned home. I don't want to cause anyone any problems. I just desperately need to know they are safe, loved, and well cared for. The person that took them in lied and said they were strays. PLEASE, if you or someone you know adopted one of them, please get in touch with me. Neither one of them were outside cats and I am terrified they may be out in the cold. They were always inside and their bodies and fur never prepared for the cold. I don't think they would have made it through very well as cold as it has been. I love and miss them dearly and would just appreciate having some closure and not wondering and worrying about how they are and if they are ok. It is causing me so much anxiety.
