This workshop provides guidance on how to navigate the New York State minority-and-women-owned business enterprises (MWBE) certification process and is the first step to receiving the technical assistance needed to certify. The New York State contracting utilization goal for minority-and-women-owned business enterprises (MWBE) is 30 percent – the highest such target in the nation for any state government. There are over $8 billion dollars in contracting opportunities and certification as an MWBE qualifies your company for contracting opportunities that are otherwise inaccessible. We are a dedicated community partner with a primary focus on eliminating impediments and barriers in the creation of successful minority-and-women-owned businesses and their ability to compete in a fair and open market. We balance the equation and make the contracting process efficient for both vendors and buyers. We aren’t here to just help organizations meet their diversity goals. We’re here to eliminate the need to have them in the first place.
