Teatro Dallas and The Juanita Craft Civil Rights House presents Cuban-born jazz pianist Aruán Ortiz and his quartet! As part of our 20th International Performance Festival, Teatro Dallas and The Juanita Craft Civil Rights House presents Cuban-born jazz pianist Aruán Ortiz and his quartet in a world-premiere 50-minute piece (in five movements) called "Pastor's Paradox." "Pastor's Paradox" is a jazz conversation about art and activism in celebration of the lives of Ms. Juanita Craft and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and their relationship between their work and the current American moment. Tickets include a champagne reception prior to the event. This event is free with limited seating.
