Be with us as the Rainbow Garden Club celebrates their 30th birthday with a lot of LGBTQ+ supportive history, and a little bit of cake! NHG helps the Rainbow Garden Club celebrate 30 years of service.Founded in 1992 for the LGBTQ+ community and its supporters, the Rainbow Garden Club of North Texas offers monthly education/social meetings, volunteer workdays in public gardens, and field trips to public and private gardens. This afternoon, enjoy a presentation of the club's 30-year history with cake, refreshments, and socializing. Plus, you can join the club in person or by going to www.rainbowgardenclub.com. Monthly meetings have included topics on a wide range of subjects, including water conservation, xeriscaping, and the use of native plants. Tours of its member's gardens and plant sales have helped to fund improvements in local parks and gardens. Come join us Sunday afternoon for a fun birthday garden-gathering. FREE. The Rainbow Garden Club meets the second weekend of each month, typically on Sunday afternoons. Meetings are hosted by its members in their homes, or at local nurseries or community gardens. The club is a proud member of the Texas Garden Clubs and is a 501 (c) (3) organization. Its members span the DFW metroplex in North Texas, and everyone is welcome to join. NOTE: THIS EVENT IS INDOORS IN OUR CLASSROOM. HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY: NHG encourages all our guests to be safe and our classroom capacity has been reduced as a precaution.
