Riverbend Open Axe Throwing Tournament 1st Annual Riverbend Open: World Axe Throwing League (WATL) Tier 5 Tournament$5000+ in Cash Prizes and WATL Circuit points will be awarded! Big Axe Tournament on Friday will be held at our Jerseyville, IL location. Standard Hatchet (Saturday) and Duals (Sunday) will be held at our East Alton, IL location. Unless the field grows large enough to justify a multi-group style tournament. Schedule: Friday, April 8th, 3-5pm: Big Axe Check-in and Practice (at Jerseyville Location) Friday, April 8th, 5:00pm: Bix Axe Tournament begins (at Jerseyville Location) Saturday, April 9th, 8-9am: Standard Hatchet Check-in and Practice (at East Alton Location) Saturday, April 9th, 9:00am: Standard Hatchet Tournament begins. (at East Alton Location) Sunday, April 10th, 9-10am: Duals Check-in and Practice (at East Alton Location) Sunday, April 10th, 10:00am: Duals Tournament begins Pricing: Standard Hatchet: $80 per person Big Axe: $60 per person Duals: $40 per person ($80 per team) Bundle and save: Hatchet + Big Axe + Duals = $160/person ($20 discount) NO REGISTRATION CAP: we can use both venues for all events if necessary. Prizes: $5000+ Cash Prizes & WATL Circuit points Hatchet: 40% of pot paid to top 6 Big Axe: 30% of pot paid to top 6 Duals: 30% of pot paid to top 6 Other info: We are 30 minutes from the St. Louis International Airport and Downtown STL. Plenty of Hotels in Alton, IL (5 minutes from East Alton Venue & 20 minutes from Jerseyville) to chose from, restaurants and entertainment near both venues. Special hotel pricing and blocks to be announced later. East Alton and Jerseyville locations are about 30 minutes apart. East Alton Location: 205 Eastgate Plaza, East Alton, IL 62024 Jerseyville Location: 806 Tri Point Lane, Jerseyville, IL 62052 We're planning to have food trucks Friday night in Jerseyville, and there are several restaurants in our Plaza in East Alton. We have bars in both locations, outside beverages will not be allowed inside.
