Create your own spoon rest. ClassDescription Brighten up your kitchen with a fused glass spoon rest. Decorate a 6” glass circle with bits and pieces of art glass, dichroic glass, stingers and frit to make a one of a kind spoon rest that you will love. Once assembled, your piece will be fired in a kiln at 1500 degrees and then in a separate firing at a lower temperature the piece will be slumped into a spoon rest shape. Once fired, the spoon rest will be shipped and ready to use in your kitchen. (The shipping cost is included in the price of the class)..Nancy has been having fun fusing glass for 15 years and wants to share the fun with you so come on out and get creative with glass. Minimum age for this event is 12 yrs old. Gatlinburg is nestled at the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in America.
