The United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties is proud to announce the 5th Annual UWLS Mini Childhood Conference. The 5th Annual UWLS Mini Childhood Conference is themed "Sensational Storybook Characters!" This year the early childhood conference will feature early childhood educators from positions ranging from United Way, ELC, and early childhood centers around Lake and Sumter Counties. We invite you to hear topics ranging from "Making Parents Partners through Literacy" to developing a "Sensational Reading Exploration Center!" Come join us for a fabulous day of learning and exploring the possibilities through sensational storybooks and their characters. Our feature event will be a costume contest. Dress up as your favorite storybook character to win a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place ribbon! You don't want to miss this fabulous day!
