The Association's efforts kept the book "Stamped" on school library shelves. Currently, this is a nationwide campaign to remove certain books from school libraries, mainly focused around LGBTQ+ issues. (NBC News)The Round Rock Independent School District's Board of Trustees has asked the District to wrap up its investigation of superintendent Hafedh Azaiez's conduct, as alleged in a protective order issued by a Travis County court. The Board voted for the investigator to create a report before the next scheduled board meeting for the Board to consider. The Texas Education Agency is also investigating Azaiez separately from the Board. (KXAN.com)The Round Rock City Council has approved zoning for more multi-family housing in Downtown Round Rock. The new zoning will allow high density residential development on 2.45 acres north of McNeil Road and east of IH-35. The new development is part of the Round Rock 2030 Comprehensive Plan to facilitate a mixture of residential development types near Main Street.
