Here are the top 3 stories today in Colorado Springs: Police arrested a man they say is connected to multiple armed robberies in Colorado Springs, Fountain, and Monument. The police department says the robberies span between early December 2021 and ended on Jan. 13. 19-year-old Samuel Abel Cordova-Barre was charged with one count of kidnapping, eight counts of aggravated robbery, and one count of attempted aggravated robbery. (KRDO) Colorado Parks and Wildlife are searching for the person who caused the death of a mother bear of two male cubs. On Friday, CPW moved the two cubs into a den on Pikes Peak where the cubs will hibernate throughout the winter. They were found in July and have been at the nonprofit Wet Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation. (CBS Denver) One person was arrested on Thursday night after a crash in Colorado Springs. At about 4:50 p.m., police were called to Palmer Park Boulevard and N. Academy Boulevard on reports of a crash. One person was taken into custody for suspected driving under the influence. There are many outdoor cats in the neighborhood but this one is new. The poster saw the cat on their porch for at least three nights.
