Press release from Clark County School District: 2022-01-28 5.02 2021-2022 School Calendars for Staff and Students The Board of School Trustees held a discussion regarding an amendment to the 2021-22 school calendar for staff and students. The board voted unanimously to approve the suggested changes.  These calendar changes align with existing procedures and policies regarding pay for contingency days. Based on these changes, the following adjustments were made to the 2021-2022 school calendar:  Monday, April 25, 2022 Full day of instruction Previously a staff development day To view the documents related to this agenda item, click here and here. 5.01 Public Hearing On and Possible Approval of the New Memorandum of Agreement between the Clark County School District and the Clark County Association of School Administrators and Professional-Technical Employees Regarding Juneteenth holiday. The Board of Trustees of the Clark County School District (CCSD) approved a new memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Clark County Association of School Administrators and Professional-Technical Employees (CCASAPE). Agenda Item 5.05 Appointment of a Trustee as a Member of the Assembly Bill 469 Subcommittee of the Nevada State Board of Education. The Board of School Trustees held a discussion related to the appointment of a trustee to sit on the AB469 subcommittee on the implementation of the reorganization of the Clark County School District and compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 388G.  The Board of School Trustees voted 4 to 3 to appoint District A Trustee Lisa Guzman to the Subcommittee on the Nevada State Board of Education.
