Press release from the Village of Northbrook: January 28, 2022 Established by the Village Board of Trustees in 2021, the Community Commission is charged with encouraging understanding, respect, and unity among residents - and creating a welcoming community for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, color, immigration or refugee status, religion or creed, gender or sexual orientation, age, mental or physical disability, veteran status, or socioeconomic status.  As the Commission begins its work, an important first step is to learn more about our residents' perceptions, goals, and hopes for this community.
