Press release from the Inver Grove Heights Schools: January 17, 2022 Each year, the top band, choir, and jazz students are chosen for the Metro East All-Conference Honor Band Festival. This year, 19 Simley High School band students were selected to perform at the two-day event at Mahtomedi High School. Students participate in rehearsals, sectionals, and master classes before performing in the festival on the second day. Simley students will perform alongside students from Hastings High School, Hill-Murray School, Mahtomedi High School, North St. Paul High School, South St. Paul Secondary, St. Thomas Academy, Tartan High School, and Two Rivers High School.
