Scholarship Winners Announced

The Downers Grove Area Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) awarded two Back-To-The-Books scholarships/grants in November of 2021. We were able to congratulate them on their accomplishments at our Holiday Luncheon held in December of 2021. Becky Joy Kristula of Westmont attends National Lewis University and is getting her Masters of Business Administration. Jill Ploetz of Westmont attends North American University and is getting her M.ED in School Counseling. The Downers Grove AAUW raises the scholarship money through their annual Used Book Sale. Anyone interested in donating books may drop them off March 19 or May 14, 2022 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM at Eagle Storage, 555 Rogers Street in Downers Grove. The date and location of the Used Book Sale are yet to be determined. Donation guidelines and updates regarding the sale can be found on our website (downersgrove-il.aauw.net).
