Press release from the City of Cambridge: December 7, 2020 The City of Cambridge will be extending the lighting of three of its athletic fields until 7:30 p.m. daily through December 21. These include St. Peter's Field , 81 Sherman Street, Hoyt Field, 13 Gilmore Street, and Donnelly Field, 99 Berkshire Street. Currently, no organized or team sports are permitted on the fields or adjoining basketball courts. The extended lighting will allow for passive use of these fields. All park use rules apply, including keeping your pets leashed and cleaning up after your pets. COVID-19 safety guidelines remain in place including: Compliance with the City's mask order Maintaining a physical distance of 6 feet from others at all times Members from the Cambridge Community Corps will be visiting the sites to raise awareness of important COVID-19 safety habits, including good hand hygiene (washing hands for at least 20 seconds, or if a sink is not available, using hand sanitizer).
