New to the area looking to play again. About me: While in grad school, I played sax (tenor) in a pretty uptempo punk/ ska cover band. The 8 of us called ourselves the Brass Cadillacs (https://www.instagram.com/thebrasscadillacs/?hl=en) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUFo59FJ5-U&ab_channel=RyanSaylock). We played all over Pennsylvania but in mostly State College/ Penn State where we were based. At our peak, we were playing 3 sig-hour gigs a week. Since COVID, we disbanded and either graduated or moved away. I just graduated and relocated to the area for a new job and I am looking to get playing again. Before the Brass Cadillacs in undergrad, I minored in Jazz Performance. During high school, I grew up in a really musically focused area and got the opportunity to play with jazz legends, like Phil Woods, Bob Dorough, and a few others.
