Hello I have a 4yrs old female American Akita. She is beautiful, well mannered and has been trained to basic commands. She gets along with everyone, even other dogs and she gets along with our cats. She is house broken. The reason why I am rehoming her is because, she is a escape artist and we don't have a fenced yard, she has broken cables for saint Bernards and also collars. Unfortunately we have many ferals and she wants to run and play so she keeps pulling and yanking, till it breaks. We also live near the road, and I'm afraid one day she will get hit. Plus I have been laid off since the beginning of covid, and even though I have been providing her with food, she is out of date of all her shots and she needs to be spayed. She will come with her dog bed, she loves her binky toy. She needs a high protein diet, she is used to eating raw, with fruit and vegetables, eggs with egg shells all this mixed with her kibble. She has been a spoiled dog. But it's not fair for her to be closed on a small deck, she needs a fenced in yard where she can run and play, when she is outside and a family that wants to play with her, so older kids is recommended. She is very friendly, odd for the typical akita which are weary of strangers, she wants love from everyone. And she hardly barks,but she moo's like a cow and when she is really happy, she will start wiggling herself like she is dancing the samba.
