• Coordinates and performs equipment repair and maintenance services.
• Operates and inspects vehicles and equipment in order to diagnose defects.
• Dismantles and rebuilds machines and electrical components.
• Performs diagnostics on all equipment to evaluate the causation of breakdowns.
• Performs landscaping and mowing duties as needed.
Skills and Abilities:
• Have an excellent understanding of the safe operation and use of grounds maintenance products and equipment.
• Possess the ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate credential/background check.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and insurable driving record required.
• High School diploma or equivalent of Automotive Service Certified (ASC), Outdoor Power Equipment Certified (OPEC), Two and Four Cycle Engine Certified, to include hydraulic, diesel engine and transmission training and/or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years prior experience as an agriculture equipment mechanic in a supervisory and/or trainer capacity.
