Forget Berlin circa 1936. Too obvious. Let's travel to Poland, May 1940. For centuries neighbors who had got along, lived next to one another in peace were suddenly told they were different. So much hate was stirred up, life long, generational citizens were suddenly no longer citizens. The Poles watched in silence as good, honest, hardworking, tax paying neighbors, labeled "undesirables" were no longer considered human, and shipped off to Auschwitz in cattle cars. When you try to divide America with an us vs. them mentality, you make our democracy ripe for a foreign entity, perhaps one fueled by religious ideology, or perhaps those wishing to rape us of our resources; to march right in and take over. When your baby falls into a pool and drowns, and a paramedic brings her back to life, you don't ask his political party. When seated in Fenway Park, no one cares your religion, political party; you are all Sox fans. So why are you so damn intent on dividing American citizens? Are you even one yourself, or some foreign shit starter? hmmm
