Description
Cover band Reckless Behavior seeks a new drummer.
WHAT WE ARE:
We are 3 guys and a girl, 2 of us sing, 2 play guitar, one on bass...you'll be the fifth member.
We rehearse in a great fully-furnished studio room in Centennial Hills - no cost!
We rehearse one night a week right now (Thursdays), but may expand to two depending on whether or not we can commit to that.
We're doing songs from the 60's to today - set list available on request, but here are a few to give you an idea:
- Roadhouse Blues (The Doors)
- Paranoid (Black Sabbath)
- Man in a Box (Alice in Chains)
- Lights (Journey)
- Celebrity Skin (Hole)
Think covers that will make the audience want to get up and dance. Stuff they'll easily recognize and love, and you're in the right ballpark.
WHAT YOU ARE:
A drummer with good chops, who can keep time. We're not looking for carbon copies of the original drummer though.
A drummer who can dedicate the needed time to the band and come in knowing your part.
A drummer that doesn't mind the drive to Centennial Hills for rehearsal.
A drummer between 25 and 50 - we really don't care about age as much as talent.
A drummer with his own stage gear and ability to get to the gig.
A drummer who's relatively laid back, can have a good time, but knows when it's time to get down to business.
If you sing as well, that's a plus.
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
The studio is fully furnished. We have all instruments there and will be purchasing an electronic drum kit that you can use for rehearsals (to control volumes better). If you have your own you'd prefer to use, great. We have space.
OUR GOAL:
We're targeting the local bars and clubs. Play for fun and make a few bucks. Probably 1-2 weekends a month.
If you're interested, please reach out. We'd love to discuss auditions with you!
