Fresh Look Painting (503)250-2531 Fresh Look Painting has been serving the Portland/Vancouver area for over 10 years. We're an extroverted group of people, staffed by people who love what they do. We do hundreds of projects each year varying from interior/exterior, cabinet painting and pressure washing. We're looking for a Residential and Commercial Painting Estimator / Project Manager who has experience and ability to estimate and manage painting projects with little to no guidance. An ideal candidate would have experience in making off-site preparations, ability to direct other team members, and experience estimating projects in both residential and commercial environments. They would also have strong personal skills to work with customers, employees, and contractors. A laptop and work vehicle are provided to selected candidates. Job Description • Job Title: Residential and Commercial Painting Estimator / Project Manager • Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000/year (depending on experience) • Position Type: Full-Time • Laptop and work vehicle provided • Job Location: Oregon and Washington (must have drivers license) • Job Role: A Residential and Commercial Painting Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of projects in a timely, on-budget manner. The job requires the candidate to manage teams around the Portland / Vancouver area, estimate projects for future clients, and build new business relationships for both commercial and residential projects. Duties and Responsibilities: • Track Projects: Responsible to understand the specifications of our scope of work and of subcontractors. Accountable to create budgets and assign costs based upon the overall execution plan. • Review and verification of job inspections and invoice sign offs. • Ensure all team members have the most current job specific information. • Be the point of contact for all communications and timely manages all correspondence between the Customer, team, and any subcontractors. • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. • Support, create, cultivate, and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members. • Change Orders: Timely prepare and submit change orders, change order budgets, and negotiating changes orders with the customer, providing back up documentation. • Estimating: Seeking and securing opportunities for future projects. Familiarity with estimating programs / painting estimating programs. Using sales skills and abilities to secure a project. Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years related project management and estimating experience in painting or construction industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability and experience using an estimating program. • Excellent sales skills. • Possess excellent verbal, written communications, and active listening skills. • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills. • Customer service and team oriented. • Basic understanding of financials and cash flow management. • Detail-oriented and sets high standards for accuracy. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email, excel spreadsheet, word processing. • Ensure workers follow safety and OHSA guidelines
