Male sun conure looking to rehome. His name is Binx, he is 8 years old now. He is super tame, just anxious and jumpy at loud sounds. He will let you rub his head, step up, take treats, sit on your shoulder, anything really! He is definitely a Velcro bird and loves being with his person. Bonding is likely to take a minute, as with any bird. He prefers males, if you’re a female and there is a male in your home he will gravitate to them. However, if you’re female and it’s just you, he will bond very hard with you as he has with me. He does have a habit of screaming when he wants attention. If you don’t have any experience with Conures, they are very loud! Toys keep him busy, he loves tearing through blocks and those will keep him quiet especially when the sun goes up or comes down. I feed him fresh chop every morning. Usually 2 fruit, 3 veggies, with nuts. He does come with his cage, or if you already have one I want to see the set up.
