South Maui Gardens's Kula Nursery is looking for your help! We are looking for multiple individuals who enjoy being surrounded by plants and helping them grow long-term work!. Full-time and Part-time positions are available. Work can start between 7:30 am-9:00 am for as little as 4 hours per day. Can be flexible. Ideal candidate will work at least three days per week. Tasks may vary depending on department, but daily tasks might include some or all of the following: Plant up-potting and propagation Fertilize plants as needed Weeding plants Digging up plants (experience with tractors, excavators a plus) Heavy lifting Watering plants in the nursery General cleaning of nursery of debris Helping to load trucks for delivery, as needed Some qualities you will need: Previous experience with plant propagation Reliability, be able to show up to work on time every day Flexibility as daily tasks can change depending on need Ability to work independently and get a job done without much oversight Ability to identify plants is important Willingness to help wherever needed Benefits for full-time employees include employer paid medical, with prescription, dental, vision, & FSA options and up to 9 paid holidays per year.
