Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for complete setup and breakdown of all events, following all specified BEO details and event diagrams. This will include but not limited to tables, chairs, portable bars, stations, buffets, etc. • Cleaning of floors, walls, windows, restrooms and other surfaces; proper care, movement, and storage of equipment, including tables, chairs and stage as required, maintaining guest readiness • Communicate any equipment problems with management • Always being positive, showing enthusiasm and being respectful to all team members • Maintain confidentiality of all clients information Job Qualifications: • Minimum of One (2) years experience as a houseman in a catering/banquet environment • Must possess positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and independently. • Most work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors will be required seasonally • Physically able to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 75lbs as well as delicate china and glassware. • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English • The above is an abbreviation of the job duties for event houseman, you may be tasked to perform other duties requested by management. • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance • Must be dependable and available to work within the venue on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demand
