Gatehouse Attendant Employment type: Full-Time compensation: $15-$16 (depending on experience) Berman is a leader in property management and facility services. Typical schedule will be Monday – Friday 7A-4P, OFF Saturday and Sunday. (May occasionally need to work after hours or weekends for special events, approximately 10 times a year. Primary Responsibilities: Control and manage the access of vehicles onto the property by opening gate to employees, staff and authorized vendors. Register campus visitors in the Raptor system and issue visitor badges prior to opening gate. Manage the campus visitor calendar. Notify each employee / staff member of incoming visitor via 2-way radio and or phone prior to allowing entrance. Respond to emails requesting visitors to added to the schedule. Periodically conduct campus inspections. Provide high level of customer service to all individuals entering the campus. Greet all visitors with a warm and inviting smile. May be asked by client to conduct COVID-19 screening to include temperature checks and basic questionnaire regarding potential exposures or symptoms of those entering the campus. Will be required to be on-call for fire alarm / security alarm notifications. Other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English. Must be able to sit for long hours (the entire shift). Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook email and calendar. Must be able to stay calm when confronted with difficult situations and rude customers. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED: - Must have a clean background check - Must have a valid driver's license - Must have a friendly personality - Must have reliable transportation
