Strategic Business Planning: A Key to Success Are you running your business without proper direction? The answer is yes if you do not have a strategic plan. Strategic planning is a systematic process that serves as a roadmap and provides direction for an organization, articulating objectives and actions required to achieve that future vision and includes metrics for measuring success. To assist you in strategic business planning, you’ll be provided with: Tools and techniques to create a strategic plan Ways to implement, evaluate and review a strategic plan Dr. Wendy Norfleet Bio Dr. Wendy Norfleet is the CEO and founder of Norfleet Integrated Solutions (NIS). NIS specializes in working with clients to provide executive/leadership coaching, training and development, and business consulting services. Wendy is a published author, and TV host of On A Mission, and holds life coach, leadership development, career development, and diversity, equity and inclusion certifications. She has also received multiple leadership awards. Most recently, she was named one of the Small Business Leaders of the Year for 2021 and one of Jacksonville Business Journal 2020 Women of Influence. Wendy is a graduate of Wayne State University (Ph.D., Instructional Technology), University of Detroit Mercy (M.S., Computer Information Systems), and Detroit College of Business (B.S., Computer Information Systems). Wendy is active in the community as a mentor for Take Stock in Children, volunteer for Girls in IT at Andrew Jackson High School and an active alumna of Leadership Jacksonville. She also serves on several boards that include Cathedral Arts Project, Pace Center for Girls, Jacksonville Chamber’s Information Technology Council (JITC), and Synapse Tampa. Our mission is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
