Yoga with Nicole, the use of art supplies and a canvas/cardstock to take home, refreshments, and a fun day you won't forget! Description: Get Creative! Join Nicole Peltier for a Valentine’s Yoga + Art Experience at Living Arts. Bring your yoga mat, wear pink/red if you wish and let your creative juices run on and off the mat. Nicole will lead a one hour creative yoga flow to some of our favorite love songs followed by an opportunity to create some of your own art. Each student will receive an open canvas and several mediums to choose from to spill red, pink and all of the colors from your heart onto the canvas. If painting is not your jam, feel free to write, draw, color, or just enjoy witnessing others play with art. Bring your phone to take pictures! Please note: The art that surrounds us in the gallery will be available for purchase, so if you fall in love with a piece, it can be purchased during the event. We are honored to support local artists just by being in the space and enjoying their creations, face-to-face. Cost: $25, part of proceeds go to local artists Living Arts was organized in 1969 for the development and presentation of contemporary art in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We are interested in newly evolving ideas, in the creation of art forms, in exploring the relationship of art to other disciplines and fields of knowledge and in sharing its interests with the community by encouraging the public to attend and participate in creative workshops, performances, exhibitions, films, demonstrations of current art, lectures, related educational activities and research. We consider art as a basic and functional essential to each person’s full development. Living Arts strives to help create an environment in which art may thrive. We are aware, informed and actively participate in cultural history-in-the-making.
