This summit is to bring awareness and provide education to current and future parents on holistic prenatal and postpartum family care.
Our goal is to help families have less traumatic hospital birth experiences and empower them to make healthier choices that support them physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Objectives:
Increase education and encourage families on holistic health options for family planning Create a safe space for an open conversation about the reality of health inequities in the healthcare setting for women and families of colorThe Maternal Holistic Health Summit will have vendors, refreshments, entertainment, and panel discussion. The panel will consist of health professionals who all focus on holistic healthcare for pregnant mothers and families.
Guests, please bring in gently used infant, maternity clothing, or extra diapers/pampers that may have been opened but unused items will be donated to Womankind.
