AXOLOTL BABIES

Description

Hi all! I have baby axolotls that will be grown enough for their homes soon. These are *special* salamanders - they spend the entirety of their life underwater, using their external gills to breathe. Parents are a leucistic female (Myrtle) and melanistic male (Steve). Currently on a diet of 1 earthworm each daily, with occasional frozen bloodworms. I recommend a 20 gallon tank for a single salamander to happily live in. (Trust me, you don’t want a breeding pair, especially when these ones are brothers and sisters) Please do your research beforehand! These animals are fairly easy to care for, but you do need to be willing to feed live earthworms that have been cut up (until your axolotl is large enough to swallow them whole). They also prefer colder temperatures for their water, which can be tough in the summer. Feel free to reach out with questions! Willing to meet outside of Reno
