Join us for "Inspire Autonomy" Transgender Self-Defense Program. The free event is provided by Dallas PD LGBTQ Outreach. All are welcome. The Dallas Police Department LGBTQ Outreach is excited to present "Inspire Autonomy" Transgender Self-Defense Program. This is the first class of a three part series. The additional dates will be provided at a later date. The class size is limited in order to safely practice social distancing. All participants must register to attend the class. Please read the following important information: All participants are requested to wear a mask covering the nose and mouthPlease bring a water bottle with water to stay hydrated during the classParticipants should wear athletic/fitness attire , including closed toe athletic shoesAll participants must register for the eventPlease arrive 15 minutes early to complete required participation waiversIf you are unable to attend class and/or have questions please contact: Officer Megan Thomas: [email protected] We look forward to meeting everyone at the Dallas Police Department LGBTQ "Inspire Autonomy" Transgender Self-Defense Program on Thursday, February 11, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at the Forest Audelia Boxing Gym 9759 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX 75243. The Office of Community Affairs and Employee Communications (OCA) is comprised of Civilian Community Outreach Representatives and Sworn Police Officers. The OCA's primary goal is to establish and maintain a positive working relationship between the Dallas Police Department and the residents of Dallas. The OCA has a three fold mission: to educate, to empower, and to engage the citizens of Dallas in an effort to reduce crime within our communities.
