This activity is for healthcare professionals interested in treatment of women with GI illnesses & the career development of women providers
Women face unique challenges in the field of digestive diseases, both as patients and as practitioners. While formal medical training and most published literature do not typically address gender differences, the 4th Annual Women in Digestive Diseases: At the Forefront will address these challenges in an exciting and interactive forum. Topics include the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver diseases that afflict women more commonly and/or differently than men. In addition, the conference will also present strategic solutions to barriers women providers in gastroenterology face in their career development.
