Description

Come learn more about the Blue Zones Project in Brevard and learn more about volunteer opportunities. Volunteering can help you make a difference, meet new people, be part of a community, learn new skills and have fun! On Thursday, March 31 the Blue Zones Project Brevard team will host a Volunteer and Ambassador Training for anyone interested in volunteering with the local Blue Zones Project. If you are interested in learning more about the Blue Zones Project and serving on a committee or helping with Walking Moais, Cooking Classes, Purpose Workshops, and special events, join the local team for this one-hour session on March 31. Tammy Hopkins, Engagement Lead with BZP said, “We will hold two different sessions to keep groups small and to be flexible with working schedules. There will be a session at 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm on March 31. We are looking for a number of volunteers to help us with events, programs, tracking and reporting and to help spread the word about our community well-being work and our Blue Zones Project classes and programs.” Blue Zones Project is powered by the Pisgah Health Foundation.
