Clocktower Plaza Shopping Center in Hollister, CA is seeking a self-motivated maintenance person to oversee the property and perform various maintenance tasks. The position will require the employee to stand, bend, reach, lift, climb, stoop and pick up items that may weigh up to 40 pounds. Position will require employee to follow written (English) and oral instructions and procedures. Job duties include: * Inspect common areas to see that they are maintained in a clean and appealing condition * Sweep/blow/pick up loose trash in parking lots and sidewalks * Monitor unauthorized vehicles or illegal dumping on property * Monitor and empty trash cans as needed * Monitor sprinkler/irrigation system for leaks * Maintain friendly relationship with tenants and subcontractors * Check all buildings and dumpster areas for graffiti or other issues that require immediate attention * Maintain supplies and equipment as necessary 15-20 hours a week - flexible hours but prefer early morning start... generally 1-3 hours per day based on the business needs of the property. Compensation $18 - $20 DOE Benefits - one week paid vacation year one, two weeks paid vacation after 1 year. Sick leave 1 week per year.
