Experienced female vocalist, covers and originals. Rock, pop, R&B, Jazz, Funk and Soul. Ideally, hoping to join a working band with a few gigs a month and weekly to twice weekly rehearsals. I'm also happy to join up with a startup group to play open jams to start the process of becoming known in the city and picking up paid gigs that way. I have two Spotify playlists, one is with my old band that ended about 5 years ago called Rhonda and The Great Unknown. The other is just me... Rhonda Merrick. Unsurprisingly this is my website: rhondamerrick.com I read and write music, play decent rhythm guitar on my own songs and can play a bit of piano as well. I studied Performance Voice at university and can sing harmonies as well as lead. I can bring my own mic, stand and XLR cables if needed. I moved to New Orleans on January 26th after living in England the past 15 years! So I don't know a soul in the New Orleans music scene. Lastly, I'm interested in collaborating with a producer or bartering for rehearsal space if you need a female voice for your project. I sing everything from R&B to Opera. I used to be a soprano, but as time rolls along am steadily working my way to tenor. Cheers!
