We have a 12 week old red merle chihuahua named Arrow we sadly need to rehome bc our older dog hasn't taken kindly to him. He's a wonderful little buddy that's had all the best care, socialization & training, and is thoroughly health-tested. We hope to find a family excited to continue that for him. A little about Arrow: He is 4lbs now, and expected to reach 6 or 7lbs full grown, but no more. His coat will be long, flat & silky. He has no undercoat, so someone who'll outfit him in the necessary sweaters and jackets in cold weather is preferred. Arrow is reliably potty-pad trained. He sleeps thru the night - provided you share your bed, and he gets down to potty all by himself. He has a sound, sweet, silly temperment, and loves training. He's smart and treat-motivated. He can sit, stay, stand back, and walks well on a harness & lead. He's learning how to shake. His whole body waggles in excitement when he approaches for a hug! He loves tummy rubs and duck jerky. He's teething, so needs his chewies, but is very gentle with people. He prefers to sit next to, rather than on top of you, and sometimes sleeps on his tummy, legs out, in what's called a "sploot." He prances like a dressage pony when he walks, and chases a laser like a cat. He's too much fun! He'll do great as an only dog, or as a companion to 1 or 2 other friendly small dogs or cats... and with careful older kids.
