Within one year, Best Friends rescue in Utah has 100,000 more pets at their rescue than last year. This is not the only rescue that is inundated. Many shelters have to euthanize or don't have enough funds. Local rescues are hurting too. Yet, people still choose to breed or buy a bred animal. I don't get it. A dog bred on purpose does not love you any less or more than one from a rescue. All these extra animals don't help with our climate situation either, not to mention all the dead carcasses. Please adopt. It's simple, cheaper, kinder and smarter. Thanks
