Second Annual Good Beginnings for Children Breakfast Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 7:30 a.m. at CF Klein Conference Center. The theme for this year’s Good Beginnings for Children Breakfast is "Colors of the ELC," and since March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday, the breakfast will also include some Seuss-inspired fun! Nearly 300 community leaders will gather for green eggs and ham to celebrate early learning and enjoy an uplifting message from Keynote Ron Shuali, M. Ed. The Coalition will also recognize this year’s Children’s Champion, someone who strengthens our community by advocating for and positively impacting children in Marion County. The Early Learning Coalition of Marion County provides families with access to quality early learning programs that nurture children’s learning potential and prepare them for their educational success. The Coalition’s mission is to provide leadership and foster partnerships to optimize a quality early learning environment for our children through child care, voluntary pre-kindergarten and parent education.
