The Black Television Pop Up: The Martin Experience Black history month is upon us! On February 26th and 27th K1 Services and Urban Embodiment are creating an exhibit based on the iconic Martin Lawerence television show. The Martin show was filmed in Detroit and is based off a Detroit radio personality. It's the perfect timing to pay ode to one of the funniest black television shows created. The Martin Experience is a 2day event full of themed food, cocktails, local vendors, characters based on the show, and most importantly a Martin themed selfie/pose wall. The living room from the show is major visual to be remembered. The selfie/pose wall is a replica of the living room-the couch, kitchen cabinets, counter top, and other miscellaneous pieces to create a realistic television feel. Covid Action Plan: Tickets are sold in time blocks as for limtited exsposure. Time blocks are as follows- Saturday February 26th- 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm Sunday February 27th-12-2pm and 2pm-4pm Masks must be worn for entry and when interacting with event staff.Temperatures checked at door.
