I am needing to re-home my English Shepherd, Maizie, to a home with no small children or dominant female dogs. I adopted her several weeks ago to be my farm dog. English Shepherds were the original American homestead dog and still have strong herding and guarding abilities. She is very intelligent, cuddly, and bonded to me right away. She is great with my heeler mix, doesn't chase my cats, and has shown no predatory behavior towards my chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, and cows. She is fine with my nine year old daughter but is not good with my three year old son. She is three years old, spayed, and up to date on rabies and parvo/distemper vaccines and flea control and heartworm prevention. I am asking a small rehoming fee to ensure she is going to a good home and I will be checking vet references. Thanks!
