Warehouse manager is responsible for recording and ordering materials, products, and supplies for both service and quoted jobs with division managers. Individuals must have strong record keeping and organizational skills. The candidate also must excel in communication as clear and concise communication with division managers, customers vendors and employees is important. Computer/software skills are required. In addition, the following skills, qualifications and responsibilities will be required by the warehouse manager: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and products. Track inventory. Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory management. Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best inventory practices. Maintain equipment/inventory log. Dispose of unnecessary material and equipment Record all material purchased for the warehouse and outgoing material Receive division purchase orders and account for material not used and placed in inventory. Produce year end inventory report for accounting purposes. Maintain vehicle fleet and coordinate repair and maintenance services to ensure all vehicles are working properly and safely. Maintain up to date insurance and registration and maintain GPS systems.. Maintain, inspect and make repairs to trailers. Maintain uniforms. Maintain cell phones for technicians. Maintain cleanliness of Watson Construction Group campus. Manage vendor activities/deliveries in warehouse. Make minor repairs to equipment. Operate forklift.
