Press release from the Suffolk County Government: January 26, 2022 Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on January 26, 2022. Last updated January 25, 2022 COVID-19 Vaccine Information 1,192,392 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 1,511. 1,069,486 people is fully vaccinated, an increase of 937. 80.5% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose. 93.0% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose. 72.2% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated. 84.5% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated. 77.0% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated. 40.2% of fully vaccinated population have had a booster dose. Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older as well as booster doses to all who are eligible. Appointments are recommended.
