Experienced construction and carpenter skills please APPLY NOW for Truss Builder jobs APPLY NOW HIRED IMMEDIATELY! RESPONSIBILITES: assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble trusses according to specifications. Involves such processes as the insertion of materials, clamping and fitting of parts. Must be familiar with a variety of practices and procedures in the assembly of trusses. Entry level position requires some on the job training. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Works under direct supervision of the table leader. FUNCTIONS: • Items below in addition to #3 man (ASSEMBLER) • Follow directions as given • Place lumber carts in proper staging area • Sort lumber and pull plates for each job as directed by table leader • Assemble trusses correctly following standard procedures • Setup/ breakdown a table • Beginner knowledge of tolerances in trusses • Pre-plate correctly • Use a chop saw • Recognize defective or improperly cut materials • Maintain safe and clean work area • Know standard safety procedures and practices • Be able to rotate to set up assistant position if table leader or set up assistant are not at table • Trains #3 man (ASSEMBLER) • Can operate laser system • Remove a plate without damaging lumber if necessary • Carry out any other tasks assigned by Management QUALIFICATIONS: • Some math skills • Read a tape measure proficiently • Must be able to read, write, and speak ENGLISH • Must be able to use computer • Must be able to lift 75lbs without assistance
