Located in Kings Mountain NC (between Shelby and Gastonia) Please text for fastest response (number located above) Meet Melon, he is a one year black and white with beautiful merle spots boy dog. His mom is a small lab mix, his dad is a german shepherd mix. Melon is house trained, he knows his commands, come, sit, lay, paw, go home, he also used to spin but we havent practiced that one in a while. He knows his name well and has good recall. He can be in front yard without a leash and will come back when called. He loves the backyard and can be a couch potato on the bed. He is used to being around other dogs, cats and kids as young as 4 but all he needs is one human with attention to give him. He is a very nice and active dog with a deep bark, he will keep watch, let him be your protector. He is also the best cuddler you’ll ever meet. He likes to lay his front paws and face on you. Melon is a great dog, he was not originally our dog altho I’ve had him long enough to have trained him and know him very well. My daughter’s friend asked us to keep him for a while but when we asked him to neuter him due to having multiple unfixed females, the teenager surrendered Melon to us… besides giving us gorgeous puppies the issue is now that someone else just left me another male dog that is untrained and not very social, and starts fights with Melon or our females but Melon comes to their rescue and both males keep hurting each others. We are in desperate need of finding him a forever home. Asking for a $50 rehoming fee to make sure he goes to a good home.
