New Bridgeport Music Festival Gets Big Headliners: Reports

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Sound on Sound, a new music festival, is coming to Bridgeport in September — and some well-known stars are set to perform. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, both members of the Dave Matthews Band, will headline the festival, Hearst Connecticut Media reported. It will take place in Seaside Park on Saturday, Sept. 24, and Sunday, Sept. 25. Matthews and Reynolds are scheduled for Sunday, and the festival is expected to have around 35,000 attendees each day, the Hearst reported. Sound on Sound is being organized, in part, by Founders Entertainment, the company responsible for the Governor's Ball in New York City, according to Live for Live Music. No other performers have been announced, according to Hearst Connecticut, but a full lineup is expected later this year. Read more from Hearst Connecticut Media
