Press release from the City of Iowa City: January 26, 2022 At approximately 11:31 p.m., June 10, 2021, Iowa City Police responded to 1100 Arthur St. for a report of shots fired. Shell casings were located at the scene. As a result of the investigation, Alajuwon Shamar Johnson, 38, of Iowa City, has been arrested and faces the following charge: Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
