White Swan Closing After 4 Years on W. Franklin St.

By John Gibson, WNIN January 28, 2022 A coffee shop on Evansville's West Side is closing its doors. The White Swan Coffee Lab is shutting down after four years on W. Franklin St. Owners David and Kendra Rudibaugh announced their plans on Facebook, citing "overwhelming increases" in the cost of operating the shop. David Rudibaugh said it "breaks their hearts" to have to close. He said they tried to purchase the building and they thanked patrons for donations and support, but the effort fell short. They hope it's not the end of White Swan but it is the end of the shop on W. Franklin. The shop's final day is Saturday, February 5th. WNIN is the NPR/PBS affiliate in Evansville, Indiana.
